NAT-IGO joint meeting 2021 : New horizons in immunotherapy



 

Almost 230 people joined the NAT & IGO joint meeting 2021 which was held online from 31st May to 1st June.

For this meeting, the 24th edition of the annual NAT conference (Nantes Actualités Transplantation) and the 4th edition of the biennial LabEx IGO meeting (Immunotherapy Graft Oncology) have decided to join their forces around a common theme: "New horizons in immunotherapy".

During two days and across 4 plenary sessions, 27 international speakers offered an overview of recent advances in immunology, transplantation, autoimmunity and cancer.

Moreover a session dedicated to short talks held and a virtual poster gallery was available. 23 posters were displayed.

The meeting ended with an award ceremony for the best poster and best short talks sponsorised by Progreffe.

The recipients are :

  • Anthony LEFEBVRE from INSERM U1189 OncoThAI – Inst. de biologie de Lille – France for his poster : Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma Exosomes Modify the Metabolic Status of Human Dendritic Cells and Favour their Recruitment through the CCL20 Chemokine

  • Manuel ZEITELHOFER from Karolinska Institute, MBB, Vascular Biology Unit, Stockholm, Sweden for his short talk : Blocking PDGFRα signaling ameliorates multiple sclerosis-like neuroinflammation by inhibiting disruption of the blood brain barrier
